Some words of advice for any current/ potential students?
If I can get a living out of audio production, that is an outstanding achievement to me! I do what I love, and plus, I get a living out of that. That’s enough for me. I’m a married man with two kids, so I feed my family from music, and it’s a great thing.
Word of advice: In my opinion, to be a good producer you listen a lot to others do! the more you listen, the better your ears get and you get to know the right sound you can give your client. And another great thing most to students cause that is what I used; take what you are provided with at the college, and adjust the skills with the market you’re in. All industries are not the same, so don’t be stuck on what you are only given to you on the school’s desk, get some documentation.
