Richard Harriman

Richard Harriman has been involved in music for over 25 years. In the advertising field, Richard has written and produced music for international clients including, Dunlop, British American Insurance, Markham, Lufthansa Airlines and many others.
As a recording and mix engineer, Richard has worked with a number of well known South African bands and artists. Taxi Violence, the Rudimentals, Mark Haze, The New Loud Rockets, Reburn, Mbongeni Ngema and the Dread Kings are just naming a few. Richard co-produced and engineered Taxi Violence’s debut album “Untie Yourself”, who’s title single reached number 4 on the Cola-Cola top 40, and in 2008 received a SAMA nomination for rock album of the year. As an educator for the last 18 years, Richard has been lucky enough to train some of SA’s leading producers and engineers. Richard is also a post graduate level, qualified teacher, as well as an Avid certified expert level Pro Tools instructor.
